PayLease Hires Pete Ziverts as Chief Compliance Officer
PayLease, a leading provider of electronic payments for the property management industry, today announced that Pete Ziverts has been hired as the organization’s first Chief Compliance Officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Ziverts will enforce the numerous legal and payment network mandates that govern PayLease’s business activities. His appointment reaffirms PayLease’s dedication to providing the highest level of security for its property management clients. PayLease’s online payments portal already meets the highest levels of security compliance including PCI Level 1, SSAE 16 and more.
Ziverts has an extensive background managing compliance and regulations within the payments industry. Before joining PayLease, he spent the past two decades working in Compliance, Government Affairs and Corporate Communications for organizations like First Data Corporation and Western Union. He also has a consulting firm that helps companies resolve communications and regulatory issues.
Mr. Ziverts will report directly to PayLease CEO Dave Dutch. In commenting on Ziverts’ hiring, Dutch said, “Compliance is a critical strategic and operational part of our organization.
